yay shall er try to post something proper abt 1 star course
er so ytd we meeted at pasir ris mrt thr first
arrived too early, waited arnd 20 mins before the first sqdmate came while thr were alrdy like half the yr 2 sqd thr alrdy
so after a while the rest came
after reaching and breifing and blah blah blah we brought the salems to the beach and er did the dreaded capsize drill...
lol 1st time fail 2nd time really capsize 3rd time pass :D
omg water go in nose
after capsize drill we brought the salems up to the grass patch and then go back for lunch
lol the ice cream uncle noes his business...
after lunch most of the time was spent in the waters bah
learn moves like J draw and classic draw
lol capsize rite in the middle and the instructor had to help us
after we ended the day we went to wash the stuff
lol wasted lots of water playing with it and getting all wet
after that, go home lah of cos...
DAY 2 ooh...
yay today use single seater, the bandit
lol sindit might sound nicer...
lol one seater so cant rely on winston liao :(
but i was rather surprised i didnt capsize much
did capsize drill and rescue with the dits
omgomgomg more water go in nose...
lol i suck at rescue
winston got stranded 50metres away from shore while his kayak was alrdy at shore
lol 1 person capsize 7 ppl rescue tgt
then...lunch
ice cream uncle earned lots again...
after lunch the sky was dark
learn new moves like the stern rudder and low recovery
er kayak quite a bit cos if not will kena push back and washed upshore
lol lots of crashing and capsizing threats
but i dun think anyone did bah
lol it was fun...
ahhhhhhhhh then it was test
lol went ok bah
except the stern rudder do wrong
lol everyone raft tgt to revise stuff that we learnt
in the end kena wash further from shore have to break raft and move back
then the instructor wanted to test my capsize and er apparently i do wrong 2-3 times and do the stupid kung fu ninja thingy again, according to the instructor...
lol last attempt pass
lucky
then move the dits back and er more water fights and watch instructors pluck mangoes
lol i was rather surprised i actually passed the course

then...er
went home
